The Farmhouse
Comfortable and homely, the traditional stone farmhouse has a large open plan living/dining room with an extending dining table, comfortable seating, and a piano; suitable for small workshops as well as just relaxing. There is a wood fired Rayburn stove which runs the central heating in winter. There are lots of books, a chess set and other games, and WiFi. The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. (A washing machine is available for guests’ use in the barn.) French windows open onto a part-roofed south facing terrace with barbecue, and a large lawned garden with cherry and birch trees. There are two firepits, one in the garden and another at the top of the valley.
